You Will Still Be Here Tomorrow But Your Dreams May Not


This is an artist I stumbled on on Etsy who has a shop called  Obsolete World .  I don't think many people, which is good, are familiar with the deep pang that despair and hope felt at once, and deeply, brings. It's a feeling that I'm reminded off in quite a few of the works she's done.

 I'm happy to say it's not a feeling I have had to experience for several years. The last being when Gabriel was diagnosed as Autistic. The years before not something to write about.


Seeing it here and rendered so beautifully kind of knocked the wind out of me for a moment. There is such a feeling of tenderness in the work.

I'm looking for prints for my new workspace and these are on the list for sure. It's been long enough that that feeling is a reminder of how far I've come, how fortunate I am to have arrived and how humble we truly are.


That's a good thing to be reminded off once you get to the place where you can just sit and take it in bit by bit.
